Juncea - Tall and grassy Juncea looks beautiful in this natural Cholla wood holder. Juncea is usually a darker grassy green with a brown base, but some plants can have a bit of a brick red tint to them. Eye-catching and vibrant, our color-enhanced Juncea are sure to bring you a smile. Enhanced with specialty floral paint in the way that looks best for that particular type of air plant. Our Juncea receive a strong blush on the tops of their leaves–very similar to the way they show their colors during their natural blooming and blushing cycle. 

3" Natural Cholla Wood - Cholla is a cactus found in the desert SW and Northern Mexico. After several years, old wood naturally dies and can be removed from the plants. After an intensive cleaning and removal of the thorns, we are left with a unique product that is great for displaying air plants.

Care Instructions: Once you have unpacked your new air plants, give them a good solid misting with clean, room temperature water and give them good air circulation to dry. Do not put in any direct sunlight. This will hydrate them after their journey to their new home. Mist lightly every day or give them a heavy misting every 2-3 days. Air circulation is important hence the air plant part. 

Air plants are unique in that they absorb water and nutrients from their leaves, not the roots. Filtered, well or rainwater is best. Municipal water with chlorine may be harmful. Avoid distilled water as the nutrients have been removed. Provide bright indirect light- indirect sunlight is best but bright artificial light is also sufficient.

Keep in mind that the care routine will vary upon species and the home environment! Monitor your plants and adjust accordingly. Do not put your air plants in soil or let them sit in water for any extended period of time.
